How the Fake Bungee Jump Works — Step by Step

Step 1 — The Blindfold

After finishing a daytime activity — typically paintball, airsoft, or indoor karting — the groom is blindfolded for the transfer to the prank location. The group knows. He doesn’t. The ride gives everyone time to get into character and the groom time to wonder what on earth is happening next.

Step 2 — The Welcome & Briefing

On arrival at the lake, the blindfold comes off. Professional instructors are waiting — serious, authoritative, completely in character. They introduce themselves, explain the activity, and run a full safety briefing exactly as a real bungee jump operator would. The groom receives and puts on real safety equipment. Everything looks, feels and sounds legitimate.

Step 3 — The Walk to the Edge

The group walks together towards the lake. A fence has been set up — explained to the groom as the final safety barrier before the jump point. He has to climb over it carefully. The fence, the walk, the view of the water below — by this point the tension is at its peak and the groom is fully committed to the idea that this is happening.

Step 4 — The Count

The instructors count down. The group watches. The groom steels himself. And then — he jumps straight into the lake.
