The session centres on two of the most iconic firearms ever made. The AK47 needs no introduction — it’s reliable, powerful, and the moment you feel it cycle in your hands, you get why it changed history. The shotgun, meanwhile, is a completely different beast: louder, more physical, and deeply satisfying to shoot accurately at range.

For groups who have never fired before, the Standard package includes a Glock pistol warm-up — an ideal way to get comfortable with trigger control and stance before moving to the heavier calibres.

Your Instructor

Your instructor is a professional with extensive range experience — tough, no-nonsense, and exactly who you want standing next to you when you’re holding an AK47 for the first time. Furthermore, the safety briefing is thorough and non-negotiable. No alcohol is permitted before or during the session — only after, once every weapon is safely secured.

Guide & Transfer

Your English-speaking Tweekends guide meets the group at your accommodation and stays throughout. Private door-to-door transfer in a modern licensed minibus is included both ways — the range is approximately 30 minutes from Sofia city centre.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience to shoot rifles? No experience needed. Your instructor covers all safety procedures and technique before anyone handles a weapon. However, the Glock warm-up in the Standard package is recommended for complete beginners.

What’s the difference between the Standard and XL package? The Standard includes a Glock warm-up plus AK47 and Shotgun. The XL drops the Glock but doubles the AK47 bullets and increases the Shotgun rounds — better value for groups who want maximum rifle time.

Can we drink before the session? No — zero alcohol is permitted before or during the activity. Your guide will arrange a post-session drink once you’re safely back in the city.

How far is the range from Sofia city centre? Approximately 30 minutes by car. Private transfer is included both ways so the whole group travels together.
