TARGET SHOOTING IN SOFIA

If you’re looking for an unforgettable activity in Sofia, target shooting is at the top of the list. Whether you’re here for a stag do, a bachelor party, a birthday trip, or simply a group of mates after something different — this is the one that gets everyone talking.
You’ll step into a professional shooting range just minutes from Sofia city centre. There, you’ll get hands-on with 5 different firearms: 4 pistols plus a powerful shotgun. That’s 50 bullets total — 10 per weapon — giving everyone plenty of time to find their aim and settle who’s the real sharpshooter.
No prior experience is needed. In fact, we welcome beginners — they’re often the ones who surprise themselves the most. Your licensed professional instructor will walk you through each weapon before you fire a single round. As a result, you’ll cover proper grip, stance, trigger control, and recoil management from the start.
After the session wraps up, a well-earned cold a cold beer waits for you. Because nothing tastes better than a drink after a morning of live-fire marksmanship.

This activity is ideal if you or your group have never fired a weapon before, or have only done so once or twice. The pace is relaxed, the instructor is patient, and you’ll have enough bullets to get genuinely comfortable with each firearm.

That said, there are a few things to keep in mind. First, alcohol is not allowed before or during the session — safety at the range is non-negotiable. Your beer comes after, and it’ll taste all the better for the wait. Additionally, come well-rested and in good shape, as a hangover and live firearms are not a good mix. Finally, all participants must be 18 or older.

If your group already has shooting experience, however, we recommend stepping up to our Shooting Rifles Sofia activity or the full Military Shooting Experience with an ex-military instructor and assault rifles.

Your English-speaking guide will meet you directly at your hotel and stay with the group throughout. As a result, there are no language barriers, no navigating on your own — just show up and let them handle the rest.

Door-to-door private transfer comes included in the price. You’ll travel in a clean, modern minibus with a licensed driver, both to the range and back. In other words, no taxi hunting and no splitting up the group.
